Footbridge over Canal Case Study

This scheme concerned the erection of a new bridge over the canal at Bathampton to provide a safer route (particularly for children and parents accessing Bathampton Primary School).

The site is in an environmentally sensitive location, with Green Belt, Heritage, Landscape and Ecology issues all needing to be carefully taken into account. We coordinated a multi-disciplinary Team of specialist Consultants and managed to achieve planning permission (under delegated powers), for this with a visually stunning bridge and most worthwhile scheme.
