Meet The Team
Director - BSc (Hons) MA MRTPI
Simon established LPC (Trull) Ltd with Co-Director Andy Miles in 1996. Before then he was employed as a senior planner at a firm based in Swindon, having moved from North Wiltshire District Council’s Development Control team where he had been employed as planning officer since 1987.
Director - Dip TP MRTPI
Andy set up LPC (Trull) Ltd with Simon in 1996, having worked with him before that at a planning consultancy based in Swindon. He has over 30 years’ experience as a consultant acting for clients from national PLCs to householders on a wide range of planning matters. Before that, he was a principal officer at Cotswold District Council, defending the Council’s decisions on appeals and at Public Inquiries, something that he has also done more recently in a consultancy capacity.
Associate - BA(Hons), MRTPI, DipRSA
Chris’ background is equally divided between many years management experience within local authorities, and then bringing this experience to the private sector. This wide breadth of knowledge means that as well as finding the “technical” solution to a planning situation, he is also able to navigate a successful course though “local authority decision making”, as he understands it so well.
Associate - BSc (Hons) MA MRTPI
Daniel has 20 years’ experience of working in the town planning profession in both the private and public sectors covering Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. Daniel has a thorough knowledge in all aspects of town planning including development plan making, development management, and the appeals process.
Associate - BA (Hons) MSc MRTPI
Tom joins LPC as an Associate following four years at GVA (now Avison Young) in both their London and Bristol planning teams and over two years at Knight Frank in their Bristol planning team. Tom has extensive experience in preparing and managing planning applications, promoting land through both strategic and local planning policy processes, and providing robust planning advice to private landowners, developers, investors and the public sector.
