We were approached by the owner of a large Cotswold House with large grounds including stables to advise on the potential for converting the stables into a separate dwelling. This site was situated the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and within a Conservation Area.  Following a site assessment, we undertook a Pre-Application with Cotswold District Council and received a positive response.

We then proceeded to prepare the planning application in conjunction with a local architectural practice with experience of working with traditional Cotswold buildings. This produced a successful outcome with full planning permission granted for the conversion of the stables into a three bedroom dwelling with garaging.
