LPC (Trull) Ltd recently obtained prior approval from The London Borough of Hounslow for the proposed erection of an upwards extension to an existing commercial office building in Chiswick to create an additional floor providing 10 self-contained flats. This prior approval was submitted and determined in accordance with the relatively new ‘Class AA’ Permitted Development Rights allowing for upwards extensions to buildings to provide additional residential units. This is a subsequent approval obtained following a previous (also successful) prior approval application for change of use of the existing commercial building to residential apartments.
