LPC (Trull) Ltd have successfully won an appeal for the residential redevelopment of the Bartrop Yard Commercial Garage premises in Highworth, Swindon. Planning Permission has been granted for the demolition of the existing garage and the erection of 2 No. detached dwellinghouses.
The original Planning Application was refused by Swindon Borough Council for two main reasons, including the effect on adjacent Grade II Listed Buildings and on the character and appearance of the surrounding area.
However, a fully detailed planning assessment of the site and proposed scheme was undertaken by LPC (Trull) Ltd. We then prepared the planning case for the appeal. This was successful and the appeal Inspector was fully satisfied that all the issues had been addressed and allowed the appeal.
